10 weeks old

We wish we had some pictures to share but we don't. We promise to get some photos up soon. It is hard to believe Jack is 10 weeks old. Last week we had his 2 month check up. He now weighs 12 pounds 10 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long. He is doing well and had his first round of vaccinations...it was so hard to watch him go through that. We have a busy month ahead of us. Beth's best friend, Brooke arrives today for a few days to meet Jack. Then Grandpa Dames arrives Wed for a short visit. Next Monday Beth, Jack and Grandpa will head back to CA for almost 2 weeks. Beth turns 30 during the visit so Adam will drive out to celebrate. We will return back to AZ for about 10 days then head back to CA as Yuki and Timothy will be visiting from Europe. We are so excited for Jack to meet his aunt and cousin for the first time.

Today we took Jack on his first hike. It was a gorgeous day out, so we took advantage of the weather.

Happy New Years

Celebrating New Years with friends. We enjoyed a night out while Gramma and Grandpa babysat. We went to teppanyaki and then to play games and toast in the New Year with friends.

Christmas Morning

Jack got to celebrate his first Christmas at our home in Arizona. He recieved so many gifts from family and friends. Thank you to everyone that sent gifts. His toy basket doesn't even have room in it for all of his toys. In fact today Grandma Dames and I will be organizing his closet to make room for all his new toys and books!!!!

The Holidays

This year we hosted Christmas. We were fortunate to have Pete and Gerrie visit from California and Adam's family visit from Hawaii, Boston, and New Mexico. We had our traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner and on Christmas a wonderful Prime Rib. The best gift this year was having Jack as a new addition to our family.
