Birthday Party Fun

This past weekend our good friends, The Drake's were in town visiting. It was great to spend some time with them. When they moved away Jack wasn't born yet so it was fun to see Ella, JD and Jack play with each other. While down here they have a b-day party for Ella and JD at Pump It Up. We had never been there what a place. Even Jack decided to participate. This child has no fear...he was all over the place:)

Our family at Pump It Up

Look I can pull myself up:)

If this isn't the cutest picture of me, I don't know what is:)

Not only can I crawl and pull myself up, I can climb too....watch out Mom!!!!

I had so much fun at Ella and JD's b-day party, the minute the car started I was sound asleep!

4th of July

Mommy and I dancing in our living room:)
Mommy and I watching the fireworks on TV! I was too tired to make it up to watch the fireworks at the park...

Happy 4th of July:)

Here I am the day after 4th of July getting caught up on our blog! We actually had a very relaxing 4th! Adam had a few days off so we took advantage of just hanging out around the house and getting caught up on some projects! It has been blazing hot in Chandler but Jack and I are headed to LM in a couple of weeks...hopefully it will be a bit cooler:)

Where did the past 7 months go....

Where did the past 7 months go????? It is hard to believe our little guy is going to be 8 months old. He is "all boy"!!!!! Jack is into everything. He is crawling all over the place...I can't leave him for very long at all. He loves playing with Tugger and they get into all kinds of trouble. This past weekend he figured out how to pull himself up to a standing position. We have began to "Jack Proof" our house but what we really need is another set of hands:) But we are enjoying every minute! Jack reached out of his crib one morning to get a book. When we came to get him out of bed he was "reading" this book:)
Jack pulled himself to a standing position!!!!

Noticed the dirty knees from crawling all over the place...

He likes to crawl into Tugger's room and cozy up to him in his bed....

Our Anniversary

Since we really didn't get a chance to celebrate our 5th Anniversary before we left we took some time to do so on our trip! Adam surprised me with a couples massage right on the beach one evening at sunset...it was just wonderful! We also did a Napali Coast snorkeling cruise and had a wonderful time. We saw tons of dolphins and the weather was perfect!

Poipu Beach

We spent a few days at Poipu Beach...our favorite! One day Grandma came too so Adam and I could play in the water:) Jack is such a fun guy at the beach...he loves it all. Some days he feel asleep in my arms because he had too much fun.

Jack eating his first Sugar Cane....do you think it's okay for a 7 month old to be sucking on Sugar Cane????

Nothing better than sands between your toes...

Daddy and Jack playing in the water:)

Salt Pond

Jack having so much fun with daddy on the beach!
Hanging with Mommy working on our tans!

Daddy and I just hanging out!

Mommy loved just relaxing on the beach!

Salt Pond is a great beach on Kauai. We spent a few days here as it has a great calm area for kids. One night we even had a beach bbq...but of course it rained:( The best part about going to Salt Pond is getting a Shaved Ice from JoJo's on the way home!!!! Jack loved cruising in his float, he even liked to stick his face in the water a few times...

Kauai

We got to spend a week with Adam's family on Kauai in June. This was Jack's first trip to the island. The weather was great while we were there. We took the time to relax, enjoy the beach and spend time with family. Unfortunately Jack got his first ear infection while we were there. But he was a champion and powered through it:) Eating at Duke's on Kauai! Jack watched while we devoured a "hula pie"!
Jack enjoying his carrots:)

Jack loves hanging out at the beach

Hanging out in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard...

Father's Day

My parents were visiting us over Father's Day weekend. We were so fortunate to have them with us to celebrate Adam's first Father's Day. It was also our 5th anniversary that weekend. Pete and Gerrie babysat so that we could go out to celebrate. We went to the Melting Pot and to see a movie. Having my parents here was a blessing so that I could have some help with getting ready for our trip to Kauai. Adam had to work most of the weekend but we did manage to have brunch at Ocotillo Golf Course to celebrate his first Father's Day.
